| Students in Ms. Lamar's Fifth Grade Art Class are participating in the Grand Prairie ISD Empty Bowl Art project. The students are making bowls from clay that they roll into coils. After the bowls are built and decorated, they will be fired in a kiln then hand-painted by the students. During the project students are using the digital camera to photograph their progress. These photos will be used to create individual books about the process that they went through to create a final product. The books will be placed on the Milam Elementary web page. |
